Once you have selected the tyres that you want, follow the on screen instructions and choose the date and time that is most convenient to you to bring your car in for free tyre fitting. Once you have completed your order and booking, you will be sent a confirmation email with the details of both your car tyre order and tyre fitting.
Tyre Safety
The tyres on your car are the only part of your vehicle that makes contact with the surface below and is a very important aspect of your vehicle. The legal limit is a minimum of 1.6mm tread depth across the central ¾ of the tyre around the complete circumference. Less than this seriously compromises your safety and can earn you a possible fine of up to £2500 plus 3 points on your Driving Licence for each tyre.
There are a few checks that you can do to ensure your vehicle is safe on the roads and in slippery, wet surfaces, can grip the surface well:
- Depth of tyre tread
- Tyre pressure
- Checking Tread for stones or other foreign bodies
- Tyre valves tightened
- General condition of tyre (Wear and tear, baldness of tyre)
